ARGUS Software's 2012 University Challenge is just around the corner!
Students at participating universities will have the chance demonstrate their ARGUS Valuation DCF knowledge while competing to win a total of $14,000 in cash prizes. The Challenge will include simulating a realistic investment analysis and composing a paper detailing the projected outcome of the investment opportunity.
All teams of 3-5 students must be enrolled no later than Feb 3, 2012.

Key features of our commitment:
SOFTWARE AT NO CHARGE: Industry-standard packages ARGUS Developer, ARGUS
Valuation - Capitalisation, ARGUS Valuation - DCF will be made available
at no charge to all qualifying establishments. These will provide server-based
installations for up to 50 users.
PRODUCT CERTIFICATION: New product certification packages will be available
for the products previously listed. These will be chargeable, but will offer
students the opportunity to obtain a qualification confirming their knowledge
of the tools.
CERTIFICATION PACKS: Certification packs will include personal, academic
licences for student use, access to training materials, formal classroom
training delivered by professional trainers and a comprehensive online examination.
EXPERIENCE: Our clients are the employers in the real estate sector. They
are fully supportive of our educational goals and, in particular, they demand
that new entrants into the sector are equipped with a proven knowledge of
the standard software tools.
Students will be able to access the most advanced and most commonly used tools for valuations, appraisals and analyses. This will give your students an advantage when entering the market as they will already have knowledge of ARGUS Software products. A series of recent job adverts stated that candidates with knowledge of these products were preferred.
