Standard Course

• Brief overview of ARGUS Valuation - Capitalisation
• Creating portfolio, property and tenant records
• Freehold and leasehold tenures
• The Tenancy Schedule, full tenant screens, floor areas and the Lease Schedule
• Rental value and yield groups
  
• Costs - capital and revenue
  
• Valuations and an introduction to Cash flows
  
• Sensitivity analysis and reports
  
• Record handling, including copying, sorting and moving
  
• Saving and e-mailing data

Advanced Course
Builds on the Standard Course content and may cover the following areas, as required by delegates. It is possible to customise advanced courses to meet specific needs.

• Multi-currency portfolio settings
  
• Portfolio analysis using reference fields at property and tenant level
  
• Further analysis and projections for performance monitoring
  
• Security settings and levels of access in multi-user environments
  
• Detailed cash flow functions covering detailed growth assumptions, exit yields and geared IRR calculations
  
• Scenario building for “what-if” analysis
  
• Modelling more complex tenant rent structures including indexation

Supervisor Course
The Supervisor course is aimed at those people who are responsible for the administration and set-up of ARGUS Valuation - Capitalisation. This covers Administration/Supervisor functions such as

• Installation
  
• Master database settings
  
• Security - setting up of user log-ins and security rights
  
• Templates
  
• Multiple currencies and currency conversion tables etc.
  
• Controlling master lists

These courses are not intended for general users of the system and would normally last for two hours maximum.

• An in-depth look at reporting options including graphics.
  
• Detailed sensitivity analysis.

Supervisor Course
The Supervisor course is aimed at those people who will be responsible for the administration and set-up of ARGUS Development Budget. There are a number of supervisory functions which the course will cover, including:

• Setting up system data such as company details and currencies
  
• Using the view editor and creating view sets
  
• User log ins, user groups and security rights
  
• Cost code formats, creating cost code sets and mappings

• User defined fields and custom categories
