Commercial real estate developments by the Trump Organization should continue to grow throughout the Philippines after the group announced its newest interest, Trump Tower Manila, according to The Philippine Star.
The organization has a joint venture planned with Century Properties, and wants to replicate the success of Trump Tower Manila. That property, which cost $150 million, is under development by a subsidiary of Century Properties, the news source explained. The property, which has 222 units, has already sold 70 percent of that space. When completed, the tower will be one of the tallest buildings in the country.
"This will be the first time that the country will see a project of this magnitude," said Amb. Jose Antonio, head of Century properties, during a news conference, according to the news source. "Never had the Philippines have a brand as powerful as the Trump brand."
The Trump Organization has multiple properties around the world, including several buildings in New York City itself, the news source added. In addition to the famous Trump Tower, the company operates Trump World Tower in the United Nations Plaza and Trump Palace.
