This introductory course will teach a user how to navigate ARGUS Developer, while creating a new property model from scratch. This course will also teach a user about the Timescale and Phasing window. Which leads to understanding how the event based timing works for phases and stages of the development cycle. This course will finish with a focus on the Unit Sales section within the Definition tab. Learn how to create units for property types such as condominiums or apartments and sell them off over a sales schedule. In addition, understand how to model additional costs for each phase of development.
This course focuses on the Capitalized Rent section of the Definition tab. Two different property type scenarios will be built, Retail building with escalating leases generating revenue during a hold period, and an Apartment complex created with an Operated Asset profile allowing for stabilized lease up. Additional costs and revenues will be entered in that associate with the two property types.
This course will model simple and complex office and retail recovery structures and apply them to tenants. The course will also cover applying a gross-up at the property and tenant level, creating reference only accounts and how to change the recoverable percentage of an operating expense. Individual tenant and expense recovery reports will also be used in this course.
This final course gives the opportunity for the user to gain hands-on experience with an ARGUS Software Certified Trainer guiding them through the creation of a multi-phase project that also has structured financing. An ARGUS Developer Data Entry Checklist will also be included in this course.
This course will cover the Snapshot module of Developer. This course has been designed to show the user how the basic features in Snapshot are used to produce a budget and track actual transactions against it. The user will learn how to create and map Cost Codes, import Developer files, create and revise a budget, import invoices and view Budget specific reports in ARGUS Developer.
