New York, NY, March 8, 2002 - Realm Business Solutions, Inc. (www.Realm.com), announced today that Highwoods Properties Inc.( NYSE:HIW) successfully deployed its RealmBudget solution for the 2002 budget year.

Highwoods' deployment of the RealmBudget solution enabled Highwoods to prepare its 2002 property and consolidated budgets "in the easiest and most accurate way I have seen them performed," said Rick Pierce, a 25-year industry veteran in charge of budgeting for the company.
Highwoods is an owner and operator of 595 office, industrial, retail and service center properties and 629 apartment units properties in Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Highwoods deployed RealmBudget over its own wide area network improving turn around time, allowing immediate and continuous updating and increasing the ownership of the budget throughout the Company. RealmBudget received its data from Highwoods' J.D.Edwards™* property management system. Mr. Pierce also commended the smooth rapid implementation of RealmBudget, adding that, "We began implementation of RealmBudget in mid-May, rolled it out to our 10 divisional offices in mid-September, and successfully completed the 2002 budget process in December using the new tool."
